After having lived in Southern California for 20 years we moved to Atlanta, Michigan. We were given the opportunity to purchase the Atlanta Motel in November of 2007, when we moved in and took ownership. It was quite a change from the hustle and bustle of a large city to a small, quiet rural area. The community was warm and welcoming and in just a few short months we knew this was “home”.
We have met some really wonderful people over the years from many parts of the world and have enjoyed seeing many guests return year after year. Our goal is to help make all our guests feel welcome and at home. While the work can sometimes be demanding it has been rewarding in many ways. Where else can you walk slowly to the middle of Main Street, which is a major highway through town, and stop to talk with neighbors during rush hour?
